Course Overview

Our 2-day First Aid at Work Requalification course is designed for individuals whose existing First Aid at Work certificate is due to expire. This refresher course updates first aid skills and ensures ongoing compliance with Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

To attend, your current certificate must be valid or within 28 days of expiry.

Who Should Attend?

This course is ideal for:

• Current first aiders whose First Aid at Work certificate is nearing expiry

• Staff who completed the 3-day FAW course within the last 3 years

• Workplaces maintaining HSE-compliant first aid cover

What You’ll Learn

• Primary and secondary survey

• CPR (Adults & Paediatrics) and AED use (updated techniques)

• Managing major and minor injuries

• Choking (Adults & Paediatrics)

• Bleeding, shock

• Fractures and burns

• Medical conditions (diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, etc.)

• Legal responsibilities and record keeping

Note: The course covers the same content as the full 3-day course, but at a faster pace.
