Established in 2002 by our founding Director, who served for 30 years with South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, we have been delivering high-quality training solutions for businesses, organisations, schools, and individuals for over two decades.

 

Our Story

ER Training was founded with a passion for safety, education, and practical workplace training. From the beginning, our mission has been to provide reliable, cost-effective training to local businesses and individuals across Doncaster and the surrounding areas.

Our background in frontline emergency services helped shape our comprehensive training programmes in first aid, fire safety, health and safety, risk assessments, and consultancy.

Today, ER Training continues to be led by experienced professionals with backgrounds in emergency services, HM Prison Service, education, healthcare, and the military. This gives our clients the benefit of real-world knowledge, practical experience, and trusted guidance.

 

Our Expert Team

One of ER Training’s key strengths is the dedication and experience of our instructors. We employ 10 highly experienced instructors, each bringing valuable knowledge from frontline roles including the Fire & Rescue Service, NHS, HM Prison Service, the Navy, education sector, and the military.

This diverse experience allows us to deliver practical, realistic training that prepares individuals and teams for real-life situations.

Our office team are also fully qualified instructors, meaning they can provide knowledgeable advice on course bookings, training requirements, compliance, and course suitability.

 

Our Purpose-Designed Training Centre in Doncaster

ER Training is based at our purpose-designed training centre in Canberra House, Auckley, Finningley, Doncaster. After being based at Cantley Community Centre for over 10 years, we moved into a dedicated training facility designed to provide a warm, calm, and professional learning environment.

Our centre is equipped with the resources needed to deliver hands-on training across first aid, fire safety, and health and safety courses. We also offer easy access from major routes and ample free parking.
