Course Overview

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Manual Handling Loads at Work (RQF) is an accredited qualification that provides both the knowledge and practical skills to handle loads safely in the workplace. Learners will explore the reasons for safe manual handling, risk assessments, the correct use of equipment, and how to apply safer techniques when moving loads.

Delivered at your location on-site across Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and Humberside, this course ensures compliance with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and helps reduce the risk of injury and associated business costs.

Applying Safer Manual Handling

• Practical demonstrations of safe lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling

• Team handling exercises (with and without equipment)

• Using aids and equipment effectively in workplace scenarios
