The Emergency First Aid at Work certificate is valid for three years. After this period, learners should complete the course again to maintain their qualification.
Can Allergens & Anaphylaxis be added to this course?
Yes, the practical Anaphylaxis training inlcuding epi pens & Neffy Sprays is included as standard, the Allergens part can be provided as an short elearning course at £5.00pp plus vat. Suitable for schools which it provide required training implements in September 2026.

Can this course be delivered at our workplace?
Yes. Emergency Response Training Ltd regularly deliver Emergency First Aid at Work training on-site throughout Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Worksop, Retford, Scunthorpe and all surrounding areas and counties. For organisations with four or more learners, on-site training is often the most cost-effective option. Our group sizes are up to 6 delegates or up to 12 delegates.
Can this course be completed using blended learning?
Yes. The course can be delivered using a blended learning format. Learners complete approximately 2 hours of eLearning before attending a 4-hour practical face-to-face session. This flexible option helps reduce employee downtime while maintaining practical first aid competence.
Can this course be split over multiple dates?
Yes. For on-site group bookings, the course can be delivered as two separate 3-hour sessions over multiple dates to suit your organisation. Sessions can be arranged during mornings, afternoons or evenings to minimise disruption to your business operations. Consecutive dates or 1 day a week for 2 weeks.
Can additional topics be included?
Yes. We can tailor on-site courses to include additional subjects such as Allergy & Anaphylaxis Awareness, Life-Threatening Bleeding Management or Sports Injury Management. Additional training time may be required depending on the topics selected.
What is the difference between Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work?
Emergency First Aid at Work is a 1-day course designed for lower-risk workplaces and provides essential lifesaving first aid skills. First Aid at Work is a more comprehensive 3-day qualification suitable for higher-risk environments such as manufacturing, construction, engineering and warehousing.

How many delegates can we have on one day?
Emergency Response Training Ltd has 12 instructors. I instructor can train upto 12 delegates at a time however if you have larger numbers multiple courses/instructors can be booked for the same date. The largest group training on one day has been 120 delegates. This is feasible as long as our training room/space requirements can be met. Ask for more details!
