Learn how to safely assess an incident, protect yourself from danger, identify life-threatening conditions and contact the emergency services quickly and effectively.
The Recovery Position
Understand when and how to place an unconscious casualty who is breathing normally into the recovery position whilst continuing to monitor their condition.
Choking
Recognise the signs of choking and learn how to assist both adults and children using current first aid techniques.
Control of Bleeding
Learn how to control external bleeding safely using direct pressure and appropriate dressings whilst reducing the risk of infection.
Minor Burns and Scalds
Understand how to provide immediate first aid treatment for minor burns and scald injuries and recognise when further medical treatment is required.

No. This is a Basic First Aid awareness course. If your workplace requires an HSE recognised qualification, we recommend our Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work courses.
