Established in 2002 by our founding Director, a dedicated professional with 30 years of service in the South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, our company has been committed to providing high-quality training solutions for over two decades.

Our Story

Founded with a passion for safety and education, ER Training began with the mission to provide practical, reliable, and cost-effective training to local businesses and individuals in Doncaster and the surrounding areas. Our founding Director’s wealth of experience in the fire service laid the foundation for our comprehensive programs in first aid, fire safety, and health and safety.

Today, our company is led by our current Director, with a in the HM Prison Service. This leadership team brings an unmatched level of knowledge and hands-on experience, setting ER Training apart from other training providers.

Our Expert Team

One of the core strengths of ER Training lies in the dedication and expertise of our instructors. We employ 10 highly experienced instructors, each bringing valuable knowledge from frontline roles in the Fire & Rescue Service, NHS, HM Prison Service, the Navy, Education sector and the Military. This diverse experience ensures our team is equipped to provide real-world training that prepares individuals and teams for any situation.

But it doesn’t stop there. Even our office personnel are fully qualified as instructors, meaning they can provide expert advice and guidance regarding course bookings and any training-related inquiries you may have. We ensure that every aspect of your experience with ER Training is handled by professionals who understand the importance of safety and quality training.

Our Purpose-Designed Training Centre

At ER Training, we believe in providing the best learning environment for our clients. Originally based at Cantley Community Centre for over 10 years we then moved into our purpose-designed training centre in Canberra House, Auckley, Finningley, Doncaster, specifically created into a warm and calming learning environment to and enhance our learner experience. Our centre is equipped with all the necessary resources to provide practical, hands-on training for a range of first aid, fire safety, and health and safety courses. With easy access from all major motorways and ample free parking.
